This workshop is geared toward parents, caregivers and professionals supporting individuals with autism who are between the ages 9-15. As children approach and enter the teenage years, they must deal with physical growth spurts, mindboggling hormone releases, and ever-changing and challenging social relationships. For pre-adolescent children with autism, these already complicated physical and social changes may be compounded by the difficulties of reading social cues and understanding the behaviors of others.
Cost: $15 - Does not include parking, which is available in the visitor's lot at a reduced rate.
Please note this workshop is being planned as an in-person event and masks will be recommended. The event could be transitioned to a virtual workshop, to be held during the same time and date. Participants will be given ample notice.
Requests for language interpreter or other accommodation services must be received 1 month in advance of the workshop.
